Tab Trade — What It Is
TabTrade.com opened in March 2026. CFD broker registered in Saint Lucia, licensed through Saint Lucia's FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, the FMA-regulated broker.
His background is relevant. It means the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not guarantee anything. Still better than a founder with no industry background.
The broker opened with Equinix data centre access in London. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. Most new brokers focuses on ads and sign-up promos. TabTrade led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.
Market coverage: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, equities, crypto, ETFs. 1,000+. For something that is a few months old, the breadth is not narrow.
Platforms
They offer: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. A lot of brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Having both is useful. You are not locked into one.
MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, EAs, massive community. If you have used MT4 or MT5 before, there are no surprises.
cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Cleaner order book. More responsive charts. Built-in algo trading. A lot of traders prefer it once they try it.
FIX API is available for automated strategies but requires the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView is reportedly coming. That should make the platform set once it is live.
What You Pay
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Straightforward. $0 to start. Suits anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is often a fraction of a pip. Meaning your real cost can sit below 0.5 pips. That is good for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that have spreads this tight require a minimum deposit. TabTrade requires zero deposit.
VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, execution under 20ms, tailored rates. Not for typical accounts. Skip it unless you run serious volume.
How Fast Are the Fills
This is the area where this broker separates from most new launches. Equinix LD4/LD5. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. Those are not marketing fluff. The average platform run 100ms to 300ms.
Should you care? For short-term trading, yes. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you swing trade, you probably will not feel it. But the fact that they invested in proper execution. That is what kind of broker this is.
Put together that execution speed with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the total package makes sense. Few brokers with no minimum deposit run Equinix connectivity.
Regulation
This is the thing that matters. The broker is under the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No ASIC. No government-backed safety net. If that is a problem for you, this broker is not for you. Lots of FCA-regulated options out there.
However. Benjamin Boulter built his career at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The Equinix infrastructure is expensive. Scam brokers do not pay for Equinix connectivity. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. It should inform your decision.
The trade-off: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether this deal is worth it is your call.
The Bonus
Tab Trade runs a deposit bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Typical welcome offer. You put money in, they credit extra capital. Usual conditions attached: trading volume requirements before bonus funds can be taken out. Read the conditions before you commit.
